Where washer leaks tend to originate
- Supply hose connections at the back of the machine, or the hose washers inside them.
- The drain hose or its connection to the standpipe, where water escapes only during pump-out.
- The door boot seal on a front-load washer, often where debris has collected in the fold.
- The detergent dispenser and its path into the drum, when a drawer or channel is blocked.
- The drain pump, its filter housing or the hoses attached to it.
- Internal tub components, which is the less common but more involved category.
